Iceing On Top - CPSIA Compliant
You may, or may not know, that the Consumer Product Safety Commission set new standards for Childrens Products within the past year. These new standards set tougher guidelines for the safety of products for children.
To read more about these guidelines, check out the US Consumer Product Safety Website.
One specific guideline refers to hazards of lead in childrens jewelry. Additionally, some manufacturers are trying to include other harmful products in childrens jewelry products to get around these laws. Check out this article in the Chicago Sun Times discussing about the use cadmium.
Iceing on top is happy to report that we are totally compliant with the guidelines of the Consumer Product Safety Act. Iceing on top products are made in the USA and contain no lead or cadmium, just 14kt receycled gold! It is so important to be socially responsible in our products and packaging, which is why our collection is 100% eco friendly.
Check out the iceing on top website for more details about our socially responsible commitment!
Sweetest Regards,
